Formally introducing our Limited Release Rum Cask Finished Single Malt North Carolina Whiskey. Distilled from 100% locally grown and malted 2-row barley from Riverbend Malt House in Asheville, NC, this whiskey was first aged in a used bourbon cask, then finished in an ex-rum barrel from Outer Banks Distilling. This limited Single Barrel release of 295 bottles is the first barrel-finished expression to come out of the distillery, boasting notes of tropical fruit, caramel, worn leather, bread pudding and ginger.
